EBO Home Rescue is a small, family-run home services company based in Cork. The whole idea is to be the local trade you call first when something goes wrong — and trust that we'll actually answer.

For homeowners and landlords who'd rather not worry about it at all, our maintenance membership gives you priority booking, member pricing and one free callout a year — your home looked after all year for one simple fee.

Mike

Founder · Civil & Structural Engineer

Stephen Michael Boyle, a registered Civil and Structural Engineer who graduated from Cork Institute of Technology (now Munster Technological University) in 2015. With a unique background that combines hands-on construction experience and professional consultancy, Mike brings both practical insight and technical expertise to every project.

EBO Home Rescue started because Mike got tired of hearing the same story — people couldn't find a tradesperson who'd answer the phone, show up when they said they would, and finish the job properly the first time. He thought he'd fix that!

Denise

Registered Electrician

Denise Boyle is a fully registered electrician. She keeps EBO up to date with the latest wiring regulations — the rules that change as new, higher-powered appliances come into Irish homes — so every job is signed off to standard.

RTÉ featured Denise as an electrical-safety expert, warning homeowners about the real dangers of DIY and unregistered electrical work. Her advice is simple: if a contractor isn't registered, there's no comeback.
