Who we are. EBO Home Rescue is a sole trader based in County Cork, Ireland, providing boiler maintenance and chimney sweeping services. We're the data controller for any personal data you share with us through this website.

What we collect.

• Contact details you provide on the booking form, membership signup, or contact form (name, email, phone, address, Eircode).
• Booking and service history — dates, services, notes.
• Payment processing data — handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Cookies — strictly necessary cookies only, for session and security. Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device; see the cookie policy.

Why we use it.

• To fulfil your booking or membership (contractual necessity).
• To send you booking confirmations, reminders, and service follow-up.
• To meet legal obligations (record-keeping, tax, gas safety).
• To improve the website, using page-view counts that identify nobody.

Who we share it with.

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — secure EU-hosted database.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — website hosting (EU region).
• We do not sell your data, ever. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
• Some of the services we rely on are outside the EEA — Stripe for payments, Resend for email and Cloudflare for the page-view counts. Each is covered by the standard contractual clauses in its data processing terms.

How long we keep it.

• Booking records: 7 years (Irish tax requirement).
• Member data: while you're a member + 7 years after cancellation.
• Contact form messages: 24 months unless they lead to a booking.

Your rights (GDPR).

You can ask us to: access, correct, or delete your data; restrict or object to processing; or get a portable copy. Email info@ebohomerescue.ie and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you have an account with us, you don't have to wait for either of those: your settings page will download everything we hold about you, or close your account, straight away.

One thing we can't delete. If you've paid us for a job, Irish tax law requires us to keep the record of that transaction for six years. Closing your account erases your name, email, phone and address from it — what remains is the date, the amount and the service, which identify nobody.
