Boiler Maintenance.
Annual boiler service by a Registered Gas Installer.
What it is.
Every boiler in Ireland should be serviced once a year. It keeps the manufacturer warranty valid, satisfies your home insurance, and most importantly catches problems before they become emergencies on a cold January night.
What it includes.
- Visual inspection of all serviceable components
- Combustion analysis with calibrated flue gas meter
- Performance test under realistic load
- Pressure check + bleed if needed
- Safety check on flue and ventilation
- Full written report + service certificate
Why it matters.
Required for warranty
Most boiler manufacturers void warranty if you skip the annual service. We give you the paperwork to keep yours valid.
Required by insurers
Many home insurance policies in Ireland require annual servicing. Your certificate is your proof.
Catches problems early
A €140 service today is better than a €1,200 boiler replacement in February. We tell you straight if something needs watching.
FAQs.
- Gas or oil boiler?
- We service both. A standard service is €140 (€120 for members). You choose gas or oil when you book.
- Do I need to be there?
- Yes — we need access to the boiler and someone to confirm the work at the end. The full service takes about an hour.
- What if you find a problem?
- The attending engineer will explain any parts needed or additional call-out fees before doing anything — so there are never surprise charges. If it's a safety issue we'll shut the appliance down and explain why.
- How often do I need it?
- Once a year. Most people book in late autumn before the heating season ramps up — it spreads load and keeps slots available.
